April Daniels

Since the start of her term in 2021, she has made significant changes both in and out of the office. Many know her by her previous name, April Mariotti. April recently married her best friend Joe Daniels, who took over the local business, Metal Massage Detailing, which she started over twenty years ago.

 

When April got married, she became the proud ‘Bonus Mom’ of a curious, active, wonderful little boy and loves to participate and support her stepson’s learning and athletic endeavors. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her family outdoors gardening, fishing, and riding ATV's along with her labs – Charlie and Jacq Daniels.

 

Though she has an impeccable understanding of practical financial reporting policies, attention to detail, and managing resources wisely, her skills are matched, if not exceeded, by her faith in God, kindness to others, and commitment to her community. April still volunteers at several local clubs, churches, and charities around the county. April founded Amber Place in 2014, which teaches individuals basic life skills, reconditioning techniques, and upcycling.

 

Additionally, Mrs. Daniels serves as the President of the Ashtabula County Republican Women and serves on several County committees, such as, Databoard, Investment, Records Commission, and Corrections.

 

April is actively involved in the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association having been elected, and selected to committees on which she has been honored to serve like, Education, Executive, Title, Audit, Bylaws & Constitution, and Chair of District 8 for last couple of years.
